I am Petra Lycklama à Nijeholt, a muralist trained in decoration, restoration, and large-scale realistic painting.

My years of experience as a house painter have shaped my eye for detail and color, teaching me how surfaces and light can completely transform a space. During my international projects, including painting a grain silo on my backpacking journey, my desire to transform larger walls and public spaces grew even stronger.

I approach each wall with a grounded perspective: a wall is just a wall, until something is added that is worth seeing. I create murals that tell stories, highlight small details, and evoke a lasting atmosphere, using a mix of traditional painting techniques.

My mission is to share my art globally and enrich spaces around the world with my creative signature.
